Kibwe Cooper grew up in Gary Indiana and found that the limiting socioeconomic climate would make it more difficult to create the impact and lifestyle he had always dreamed of. After moving to Fort Wayne Indiana and pursuing a higher education, Kibwe graduated with a degree in Audio Video Production. Kibwe’s professional background in audio-visual engineering and performance, allowed him to experience first-hand how operating within his purpose leads to personal success and affects others for good.

This discovery led him to found Kibwe Kreative Media in 2020. After hundreds of Audio Video productions and being recognized as a Fort Wayne 40 Under 40 Business Award winner, Kibwe realized how working with his own gifts and purpose empowered him personally, and saw the importance of sharing these stories of adversity, triumph and success with others. While Kibwe Kreative is for everyone, it primarily looks to empower black and brown young people, influencers and professionals in an effort to rewrite narratives and leave a ladder for the future constructed of self-development, leadership tools, connections to mentors, expert influence, and real-world wisdom.

Kibwe started the EmpowerYou Podcast to build these connections using interviews with experts, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders who teach and encourage listeners who are looking to grow and succeed in their own lives and careers. Together, they demystify the process of success. Additionally, his course and coaching program – The Guru Guide to Podcasting – offers a curriculum, direct training, video tutorials, and a complete Done for You service to entrepreneurs businesses who want to start their own podcast.

Already, Kibwe has recorded and produced over 150 podcast episodes, gained thousands of social media engagements and reached over 100 thousand listeners across his podcast projects while successfully educating students and business owners in his coaching program. In the future, he envisions a diverse audio-video network reaching over a million viewers and listeners monthly. In the meantime, Kibwe is raising awareness locally and working with journalists, story tellers, business owners and grantors to develop new and engaging audio video podcasts, raise capital and produce diverse, impactful, and substantive podcast and video projects . Step by step, Kibwe demonstrates and shares the powerful impact of intention, faith and purpose.
